627 FROM ANCESTRY.COM---
Was the daughter of an English surgeon and, in the land of titles and snobbery, where society was so divided by status, this unequal union can be accounted for only on the theory that John Barter was the only available young man in all the country, who had sufficient nerve to tackle the fiery and untamed Mary Foote. As a grown mother she was known to be extremely dressy, handsome, proud and exacting, frequently carrying this latter characteristic to the extent of boxing her son Richard's ears long after he was a husband and father, and it is said to have been a touching exhibition of filia obedience to see the great six-footer; who feared no man, stand up and submissivley receive the punishment inflicted by his mother, while tears coursed down his stern cheeks.

Buried behind R. Barter's home on North Main St. Mt. Vernon, IN
Foote, Mary Anne (I1154)

628 From Anne Graham McKay: “Albert Augustus Bushee worked for Tiffany, I don’t think his brother did. The brothers then went on to open their own manufacturing shop, mass-manufacturing cheaper jewellery”

1868 Associated himself with Mr. Ebenezer Bacon and formed A. Bushee and Co. Manufacturers of Jewelry in Attleboro, MA.
1870 he admited his brother Charles H. Bushee as Partner in the Business.
1872 needing increased space moved the business to County Street in Attleboro, MA
